The Word of God as help against temptations ....

Behold, My words shall be your comfort at all times.  As I always surround you when you are in trouble, so My words are always witnesses of My love, and if you take them into your heart, strength and power will flow to you against all temptations of body and soul.  Standing at the gate of life will always entail many trials, for everywhere evil fights against good.  But the earthly child is never left to itself, it finds help so easily and sufficiently to resist all evil.

Behold, My child, love, patience and gentleness have in themselves such great power that every danger can easily be bent by them.  Who only always keeps in mind that only through self-control the world can be defeated, he will fall less and less into the temptation to rebel and thereby harm himself.  Wanting and being able are two different things, but what a person seriously wants, he can also do, because he will receive the power from above, if it is good .... and he will also find support from below, where his will is for evil.  That is why every expression of power is accessible to man, and it is his will alone that makes use of the powers more or less in his strength.  Therefore you are also able to accomplish unbelievable things if only your will is strong.  And you will therefore also be able to overcome all resistances with this will. ....

And so that you are pointed out again and again what you should do and omit, deepen yourselves into My Word, and all strength and confidence will flow to you through this.  Because My Words are words of eternal life .... who has these, he will hunger and thirst no more .... he will feel no weakness in himself .... he will also never be despondent .... Therefore, immerse yourself in My Word, if you want to resist every temptation, and be sure that the Father in heaven will grant you every assistance, for His will is to lead you out of all turmoil of life unharmed, towards Himself and the eternal home ....
