Enliven your spirit with thoughts of your Lord and Savior, and you will never have to worry about the distress of your soul. It is always the same thoughts that you give room to, and yet only your heart needs to desire Him, and no danger will threaten you anymore. Therefore all people should only seek their Savior and Divine Redeemer, and never would violence be done to them by powers of darkness. For this alone protects every soul .... He who desires to go up, will not be swallowed up by the depth .... his flight will only go higher and higher, and the spiritual light will protect him, that it could ever again become dark around his soul.
And so the true disciples of Jesus are destined to walk in the light already on earth, to proclaim the light on His behalf and to spread such bright, radiant light around themselves and to let it shine to those who follow the ray of light that cast it's glow on the dark path .… The clarity will do good to every soul, and it will bathe itself unceasingly in the light of spiritual truth .... And this light will awaken the slumbering spirit to life .... As a new day dawns, so will a new thinking awaken in the heart.
The darkness of the soul is pierced by radiant brightness, and every little flame of love ignites in the heart and brings to light an undreamed-of power .... Everything that lives in man participates in the rebirth of the spirit .... An inexpressible urge for spiritual gifts makes the heart restless, and it finds peace only in granting this desire for spiritual food .… The soul is constantly urged towards the Spirit of God, and when it has completely become the bearer of this Spirit of God, man experiences the spiritual rebirth, and all his will and aspirations are only directed towards his perfection, and he will be introduced to all wisdoms and be enlightened by the eternal Light, which is God Himself. ....
Surrounded by the densest darkness, it will still be light and bright around him, and whoever is taught by him will also be enlightened, because it is God's will that the light shines far around, and so also the Lord has wisely ordained that His kingdom is opened to all who walk in this light. .… There are indeed countless souls stuck on earth, and always the fault is to be sought in the fact that they were denied the light of heaven for the simple reason that the light of the soul could not shine where one only pays homage to purely worldly pleasures and does not have the slightest understanding for spiritual light .... and a complete darkness must surround such souls who rather shun the light than seek it ....
And although their activity on earth is an extremely lively one, this will nevertheless be of little benefit to the spirit, because no spiritual nourishment whatsoever can enable the soul to serve as a dwelling place for the spirit, and thus the train of thought of the earthly child under such circumstances, is a purely worldly one .… and such a being can seldom be given the light from the heavens because it feels more comfortable in spiritual darkness, thus it avoids everything, as it were, which could contribute to the brightening of the soul, and therefore all actions and deeds also remain groping in spiritual darkness.
Only when a man who has advanced in knowledge makes an effort to draw the attention of such erring souls to the blessing of the light, it slowly becomes a little brighter around them, and they feel the beneficial effect of such a light of grace, but before such people reach spiritual rebirth, there is still an endless long way to go, which they can hardly find on earth and therefore can hardly reach the rebirth of the spirit in earthly life. But the few who set this goal first in life will be blessed a thousand times over, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven with all it's glory ....
