Whoever seeks Me and strives to fulfill My will, serves Me. And I want to form his heart and turn his mind completely to Me. The burdens of the earth shall only contribute to increase the longing for Me; man shall recognize in Me the Savior from all misery, and his deepest plea shall be for the union with Me. The more the earthly child prays, the more he longs for Me, and when he almost pines, I stand before him most alive. And his longing is satisfied, and My love hands out to him what makes him unspeakably happy.
Not as the world gives you, do I consider you .... For the world rewards you with earthly treasures, but I have prepared the joys of heaven for you, and these joys are by no means transient, but eternally lasting and inexhaustible heavenly delights. Earthly happiness is conditioned by the joy of possession, therefore man will always strive to possess what seems desirable to him. Heavenly joys, however, are equally founded in giving as in receiving .... For everything is guided by love, and he who loves, wants to give in the same measure as he receives.
Therefore grasp the goodness of God, His long-suffering and His mercy that He offers Himself as the highest happiness to all creatures on earth .... that everyone is only allowed to desire the union with Him in order to be blessed indescribably blissfully by the eternal Divinity .... that He offers His love again and again to people who remain in constant defense, because He does not want them to lose this highest happiness .... and that His patience with people knows no limits and He tries to come closer to them in every way .... He wants everything immature to recognize it's condition and to make every effort to reach the top and thus to become a giving and receiving being through God's grace. ....
