It is the Lord's will that you teach the people who are of good will. And it is so infinitely precious to be instructed by the grace of God and thus to be knowledgeable, that all those who walk in ignorance of the Spirit, should be remembered with compassion .... And to preach the gospel to them, is a work of charity and will one day bring rich blessings - for all these ignorant people are in the greatest need of their souls. They go along empty-hearted, and their earthly plagues are far greater, lacking the insight of necessity, the hope of help and the consolation of the Divine Word, and so their lives are poor, despite earthly wealth and apparent well-being. To be left in such distress of soul, is an agonizing condition for the latter, and they will feel grateful for any help of a loving person who will deliver them from such distress.
Time and again God brings people together who can help each other, and therefore every opportunity should be used and mention should be made without shyness, of God's loving guidance which can be recognized in all sorrowful events. Everything has the sole purpose of contributing to man's ennoblement - man is to accept all suffering in humble surrender and to think of his Creator, Who lets nothing happen without wise intention, but Who also loves His creatures intimately - and therefore all tests which He imposes on them, are only always based on this deep love and are to bring the earthly child closer to the heavenly Father.
Every suffering would be gratefully accepted by the people, if they knew what blessings arise from it for the soul, which is immortal after all .... if it knew furthermore what unspeakable agonizing condition it has escaped in eternity through it and what bliss can be it's lot, if the suffering has fulfilled it's intended purpose and has brought knowledge to the human being .... they would surrender to the Divine will and take the suffering upon themselves without grumbling ....
