There must be a sounding board, if the tone is to sound audibly, and it is the same with the inner voice, which is always audible only when man is receptive to the fine sound of the Divine voice. Likewise must the instrument .... first be reproduced in the human heart .... the sound which the Divine Master Himself lets resound and which touches the human heart full of intimacy and euphony. And the more the instrument is cared for, the sweeter is the sound produced, and thus every earthly child can hear the sound of the Divine Word, if only he willingly opens his heart and desires to hear the Divine voice.
And yet it will only be very rarely that God can speak to a person in this way. Because nobody seriously desires to make use of the Divine offer, because man does not have the desire to hear what the eternal Creator wants to impart to him. And without desire, it is again impossible to make the Divine truth accessible to him. And almost all people today are in this situation. They could hear the Word of God, and it can be directly received by them, or also by transmission, if man himself is not able to make his heart receptive.
And man is not able when his will does not cause the heart to serve as a sounding board .... i.e., to listen willingly and joyfully until the voice sounds in his heart to the indescribable joy of the listener. For God will speak with everyone who wants to hear His voice; He will put the gift into every human heart to receive thought-transmissions as well as sounding words and to deliver them to the brain, where it is now first processed intellectually and therefore now reaches man either as clear thoughts or deeply felt words, which have no other purpose than to bring light and truth to the people on earth, if this is requested ....
