All light requires a source of light .... must therefore be generated somehow. It therefore requires a facility, a station, where something must be constantly active in order to produce light and thus also power. And furthermore, this light and power installation must be under the control of an extremely prudent leader who passes on the generated power as intended, i.e. who directs it to its actual use. When something is produced, it cannot be passed on haphazardly or inexpediently, but it must correspond to a purpose, and thus the product of uninterrupted activity must also be supplied to its right purpose, otherwise all activity is useless and lacks any justification.

Thus the light is produced on the one hand in order to serve humanity, which needs it, but then also in order to make the creative power accessible to people, which saves people untold effort or supports them in their duties and endeavours to serve their fellow human beings again. It is therefore, to a certain extent, a relief in order to be able to fulfil tasks given to them; they can carry out the work incumbent upon them effortlessly but still fulfil their task. They are therefore relieved, although they are willing to serve, by using this strength .... and they are able to fulfil all their tasks by making use of the light, which again is needed for every activity. Thus light and strength will always be indispensable if a requirement is to be fulfilled ....

This process of generating and using light and strength, which is everywhere perceptible in earthly life, takes place in infinity in the same way ..... The light which floods everything is the result of the uninterrupted activity of innumerable spiritual beings which, although it does not consist of earthly conceivable work, finds its explanation in spiritual activity. Thus light and strength constantly flow from these beings into the universe and originate in a power station which has the eternal Creator Himself as Master ..... For He Himself is the producer and giver of all light and strength, He is the source of light and strength ...., everything that signifies emergence and existence originates from Him. And it is passed on through countless beings closely connected to Him who receive light and strength and transfer it to everything that is visible in creation ....
