The success of every work always depends on God's blessing, and God will bless the work if it is begun and completed with faith in Him and trust in Him. It is by no means to be assumed that human intelligence guarantees the success of a work, rather, intelligence is also already the working of spiritual forces from beyond, namely good forces if the work was preceded by a God-believing thought, or also bad forces if the human being in arrogance feels capable of mastering a difficult work alone.

Good spiritual powers are also often at work without the person consciously requesting God's blessing, namely when the person does not yet have knowledge but otherwise thinks correctly and is of good mind. Even then he receives the strength from above to direct his thoughts upwards and to make him aware of God's blessing so that he consciously strives for the connection with God and no longer starts any work without praying for God's blessing. Whereas, conversely, spiritual evil forces take possession of the human being, since his thinking corresponds more to those forces and the effects of these are accepted without resistance. And the result of such bad influence will be that the human being will always become more arrogant and aware of his value, that he believes he can manage everything by himself and never thinks of asking God's blessing for a work. And thus those spiritual forces are always active in every work which correspond to the human being's thinking .....

The success of a work will always depend on his innermost attitude towards God, for even if a work apparently achieves earthly success without God's blessing it will only ever result in earthly success, but through such work the human being puts himself under the control of evil powers, i.e. they increasingly capture his thinking and his attitude. They provide him with many earthly advantages but drag his soul down and thus increase his distance from God. Nothing should be started without God, the earthly work should bring success to the soul. Then it will also be blessed in earthly terms and the human being will be able to accomplish difficult tasks with ease because the good spiritual forces will take care of this work and guarantee its success ....
