Life in eternity .... connections .... reunion ....

The surroundings in which a soul that has departed from life in faith in Jesus Christ now lives are indescribably charming. It can be called a paradise in comparison to the valley of the earth, it is an extraordinarily beautiful region, which is also reminiscent of earthly realms, although it has an incomparably happy effect on the soul. What seemed particularly attractive to the soul on earth it will certainly find in its present surroundings, only far more beautiful and perfect. The soul can lead the same life in the beyond as on earth, as long as this has brought it redemption; thus as soon as earthly life was not an obstacle to spiritual maturity it can dwell in the spiritual atmosphere and therefore its happy state can consist of the joys it longed for on earth. However, advanced souls in particular usually no longer desire such a sojourn. They are already too alienated from the world because they were spiritual seekers. Hence the soul's present environment will be the kingdom of light, and the children of earth have little access to this kingdom, i.e. it cannot be visualized to them. They are unimaginable creations of a magical abundance of light which are devoid of all earthly works of creation. The soul is guided into the new home in a truly caring way by the beings of light coming towards it, everything around it is radiant light, and the spiritual eye sees the strangest creations of gigantic beauty, always adapted to the previous perception, so that therefore the soul must be happy because it sees and hears and is allowed to possess what gives it greatest happiness. And it will never enjoy happiness alone, but beings will always be together with it, which have the same feeling, the same spiritual maturity and are to fulfil the same tasks. This spiritual concurrence of the sentient life of several souls delights the soul to the utmost. The souls that are spiritually on the same level unite intimately and thus form a harmonious whole without any discord or spiritual conflict. Rarely, however, can it be assumed that such a soul will see again many of its relatives who have gone home before. For rarely have they all had the same spiritual endeavour, and thus the surroundings of these souls are also quite different. And according to their fullness of light they also stay close to earth, i.e. with the souls spiritually related to them. Hence all these souls can also find earthly creations around them, however, only those souls will desire them which are still attached to earth and its possessions. Hence the descriptions of such spiritual reunions should not always be regarded as erroneous, it is just that this sphere should not be considered a goal for a striving soul .... What is comprehensible to people on earth is also still very earthly, very human .... but what goes beyond that is again not so comprehensible to people. These spheres are so overwhelmingly beautiful and harmonious that their inhabitants do not like to come back to earth and also rarely approach their relatives, because this proximity is an unfamiliar atmosphere for them, which they leave again as quickly as possible and turn to their actual home, which offers them so many marvellous things and where through the union with spiritually mature beings ever more radiant light is spread, and this is therefore unimaginable for the children of earth, who themselves still pay far too much attention to the world than that they could penetrate into the purely spiritual area. How life in eternity takes place after death can only be conveyed to very few through spiritual vision, but this much is certain, that only rarely the same connections are made in the beyond that existed on earth. For in the rarest of cases the same spiritual attitude, the same spiritual maturity and the same eager striving towards God can be found in people who belonged together on earth, consequently, only the same spiritual relationship of maturity will result in the unification of the beings in eternity, but these can be human souls who are complete strangers on earth who find each other there in order to be unutterably happy by practising works of love which, in turn, apply to the still imperfect beings on earth and in the beyond ....
