Divine order .... sin ....

To live in the divine order means to adapt oneself without resistance to the laws that God has given for all His works of creation. The inner voice must be obeyed, as it were, as to what it prescribes man to do, then man will also be in the divine order, i.e. respect and obey the divine will. And then he will also follow the path of higher development. Every work of creation apart from the human being is in divine order because it is in bound will, i.e. everything now has to do what is divine will and therefore corresponds to the laws which God gave from eternity. Only the human being is able to overturn these laws, i.e. to violate them, because his will is free and this can also be utilized in a way that contradicts the divine will, the divine order. However, such contravention of divine order has a damaging effect on his soul, as it jeopardizes, indeed often even disrupts, his higher development. For God, in His wisdom, has ordered everything in such a way that it cannot be arbitrarily changed by people without causing harm. Rather, living exactly according to the divine order is the only guarantee that man will progress on his way upwards. If he allows himself to be guided by the voice of the heart, he will never violate the divine order, for this is the silent guide and admonisher on his path through life, which speaks up where the human being threatens to deviate from the order willed by God. Man must by no means believe that God will change His laws if they appear impracticable to him, but man must do everything in his power to overcome the obstacles that stand in his way if he is willing to live in the divine order .... He must ask for the necessary strength to do so, as it is precisely in overcoming resistance that the ascent to the heights is guaranteed. Then he will remain in the divine order despite difficulties, he will thus live according to the divine will. Openly rebelling against this is an offence against the divine order and therefore a sin. And man has a very good ability to judge what can now be counted as sin, provided he only applies the standard of how far all his actions, his thoughts and his words are directed against the divine order. So what is wrong before God is sin .... If the divine will is disregarded and instead one's own will becomes active in a way that goes against the divine will, then man violates the divine order and sins. Living in the divine order therefore means reaching the heights, whereas an offence against it inevitably means a step towards the depths, because sin distances man from God, i.e. leads him back to that which he has already escaped through living in the divine order in a bound will. In this respect the stage of free will is a danger for the being because it is no longer forced to live in the divine order but can also misuse its freedom of will and live against the divine order, which, however, causes it to take a step backwards in its higher development. But the will towards God protects the being from every action which goes against His will, and therefore the human being need not fear to offend against divine order as long as he desires God.
