God distance - state of weakness ....

The state of remoteness from God is a state of weakness, even if a person believes that he is in full possession of his power and can do with it as he pleases. However, he will only be able to achieve earthly success .... if this is within the divine will .... but not any spiritual success, and only the latter is decisive for eternity .... Earthly life is soon over and earthly success has no lasting value. Whatever a person begins who is distant from God, he will not find the support of the good forces, for they do not give their help to a beginning that is aimed at the increase of matter. But what is done in a state far from God also contributes to increasing the power of the one who opposes God. If the human being sacrifices his will, i.e. if he submits it to God's will, then the desire to come closer to God has awakened in him and now he also has the strength to .... His state of weakness is overcome, and the more he surrenders to God without resistance, the more so. He is now approaching the original state, the state in which the being was in full possession of the strength from God, but which can never be with a being that has distanced itself from God as the source of strength. The earthly change without God can therefore never bring spiritual success to man, because there are only two possibilities, to establish the connection with God and therefore good powers to receive the power, which is from God, or to turn the will towards the opponent of God, which makes the supply of power from God impossible. However, anyone who does not recognize God is far from Him .... and correspondingly closer to the adversary, who will always inspire him to act against God. And the person who is far from God also follows this suggestion .... And he therefore voluntarily gives himself over to his power and remains a weak creature, incapable in every way of developing spiritually .... He is completely weakened, and this through his own fault, since he was free to turn to God instead of the adversary and he uses his will in a God-opposing way. Distance from God is weakness .... closeness to God is strength and vigour .... and the being is free to choose its state ....
