God's Means in the End Times ....

God uses the most effective means to win souls in the last days because His love still wants to bring salvation to the weak. Yet people are so far removed from faith that they try to explain even extraordinary works to themselves naturally rather than believing in God's strength, and therefore they will also pay little attention to the miracles in the last days, which are likewise only means to revive or strengthen faith.

The people of the last days are completely secularised, they don't believe in life after death, in a power which calls them to account and therefore also not in extraordinary manifestations of this power, they don't believe in the power of prayer, in a connection with the spiritual kingdom, and therefore they cannot be pointed to the last Judgment either, since they only scoff and defend themselves against such indications. They believe to be completely enlightened and reject every spiritual conversation, which is why they also know nothing about the phenomena of the last days which are now taking place before their eyes and yet remain without impression.

However, there are also those among these people who have no opinion of their own and are, so to speak, fellow travellers, and God remembers them and tries to draw their attention through all kinds of strokes of fate. He brings His will to their attention through His Word, and He makes them thoughtful through the events which move the whole world and clearly betray divine will. For if they are given indications of the end time from several sides they will pay attention to their arrival and will not completely close their ears if God's will is made known to them. There are only a few of them, and yet God also courts these few, for He seeks to win every soul in order to spare it another walk on earth.

The means which God still uses as the last appear so unkind and cruel that it is difficult to present them to people as proof of God's love, and yet they can only be explained in the great love of God ..... For as soon as the end is imminent there is no longer any possibility to mature on this earth, and the fate of the souls which cannot be instructed and which sin anew against the eternal Deity through their will is such an exceedingly agonising and pitiful one that every saved soul is eternally grateful to its Creator for the means His love has used.

He sends His messengers to the weak, He tries to persuade the stubborn to give up their resistance against Him through unusual suffering, and He tries to make the decision easy for those who are still undecided by providing proof through believing people that faith carries the strength within itself .... by letting them accomplish extraordinary things by invoking His name and by bringing Himself close to people, revealing Himself to them in the Word and announcing the end to them. He woos His living creations with all love, who are in danger of falling away from Him completely, and He uses all conceivable means, but He does not force them to comply with His ideas but leaves them complete freedom. Yet they must now also bear the responsibility if they push the loving hand away from them which wants to seize them again and again before the end ....
