If you therefore live on earth without Me, you are in truth dead, it is only an illusory life you lead, which My adversary helps you to lead; he pretends to give you life but in truth you are dead, for I alone Am life and I alone can give you life, because I alone distribute the true strength of life, which only requires love for Me in order to be received. But anyone who loves Me does not rely on Me, and I will not leave him for ever either.
