Rays of light seen and followed in the beyond ....

Bright and luminous, a light shines down to earth that is incomprehensible in its effect. People do not see the ray of light, for it is nothing earthly material, it cannot be perceived with physical eyes and is therefore hardly noticed. But the spiritual kingdom emanates that light and its inhabitants joyfully follow its path, and they eagerly endeavour to draw people's attention to its ray and to guide them into the circle of light so that they, too, will feel its benefit. This light emanates from God and touches earthly people with such strength that it would suffice to completely spiritualize them if they would completely expose themselves to its effect without resistance, if they would willingly let the light from God flow into their hearts. The light from God .... His power, before it comes to earth, takes shape .... it is shaped into the word, into the audible expression of God's power of love .... Where the word of God is conveyed to earth this is recognizable to all spiritual beings as an exceedingly luminous ray by which they feel powerfully attracted and which they gladly follow to the aim .... which is why people who receive the word of God are constantly surrounded by beings who want to partake of the bread of heaven, who want to warm themselves by the ray of light and receive it themselves .... People who have the grace of being allowed to receive God’s word are unaware of the immense blessing that arises for so many souls in the beyond from being allowed to listen, and how grateful they are for this ray of light which, once they have discovered it, they no longer want to miss .... Humanity knows nothing of spiritual processes as long as it is purely worldly minded. It is constantly in darkness, although the physical eye is seeing .... It still seeks a substitute in the dazzling light which the world radiates. But these souls no longer have this illusionary light at their disposal either, and they are always in darkness .... Therefore they appreciate every ray of light, no matter how weak it may be. They pursue it in order to reach the light. But where God's love guides a light from the heavens to earth there dwell multitudes of beings in the beyond who are also not denied to participate in the ray of love which is intended to bring enlightenment to people on earth. What is left unnoticed on earth signifies merciful help to those souls and the possibility of an ascent from the abyss. And God does not deny them access to the light, after all, they are free to make use of it because He loves all beings and wants to help them to beatitude. All who have the grace of being directly fed by God with His word should think of these souls in the beyond .... They should feel called for a mission which has a beneficial effect in the kingdom of the beyond, even if the success on earth is less great. They should always open their hearts to receive, they should always be ready to receive God's ray of love which wants to pour into their open hearts .... They should remember those who want to participate in spiritual hardship in order to improve their state of soul .... They should be restlessly active in their work for God so that the darkness will disappear, on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom ....
