God's infinite love ....

BD 5252 November 9th 1951

I am the father of you all, My love belongs to you all, I want you all to be blessed, I want to make you My children who are united with Me for all eternity .... My love for you is exceedingly great but it finds little reciprocation. My living creations are blinded in spirit as a result of their will which was once directed against Me, as a result of sin which deprived them of all knowledge. Nevertheless, My infinite love still belongs to them and will never cease until I have won My creations over again as My children.

This love moves Me again and again to lure and call My sheep like a good shepherd; love moves Me to constantly stretch out My rescuing hand where there is a danger of them falling away; I use all means which are suitable to guide the lost to Me again, and I leave nothing untried which could only promise a small success. Yet it is laborious work as long as the other locket .... as long as the prince of the world beguiles people and they willingly follow him ....

My curl is love, but his aim is ruin .... Yet force cannot be used from any side, the human being cannot be forced from any side but his will alone determines his path upwards or downwards. As long as the human being does not recognize My love My enticing and calling is in vain, but he will only recognize Me and My love if he himself is capable and willing to love. Then his heart will push towards Me of its own accord, then it will sense where it finds a response to his love, then it will already have become Mine for eternity ....

So it is love that is to be ignited if the being wants to become blissful. Love is everything .... it alone changes My creature's relationship with Me, it alone turns the creature into My child, love indissolubly binds us together and restores the original relationship .... But people lack love .... I tirelessly court their love and encounter hardened hearts which remain unimpressed by My courtship. And I take pity on this humanity, for it does not know what a wretched state it is in without love .... It does not know what bliss it deprives itself of because it is without love. I cannot be angry because deepest darkness obscures its spirit, and people grope along in this darkness, suspended in the danger of falling every moment. Again and again a saving hand will reach out to them, but for the most part they do not see this hand because they do not want to see, because their eyes are directed into the distance where will-o'-the-wisps flash to deceive them ....

I cannot be angry and yet I must let them go their way until they themselves realize that they have lost their way and call for help .... I cannot provide them with light against their will which would not benefit them but only make them unfree .... And therefore much adversity and misery will still pass over the earth, yet My love will never cease for My living creations, whom I still want to win through this adversity .... For the adversity shall kindle love in them, love for their fellow human beings who are in the same adversity, and this love will then also recognize Me and learn to love Me .... And then all adversity will be remedied .... then My love was victorious .... then My love has won you and you will be eternally blissful ....
