Endangered situation of Christianity ....
Necessity of the Deity's work ....

Offer yourselves as a sacrifice to the Lord by overcoming yourselves and taming every intolerance for His sake, and soon nothing will be able to become a stumbling block for you.  Whatever then stands in your way is always only the attempt of the opposing forces to bring you down, and their joy is immense when they succeed.  You must put an end to these efforts and never again get caught in the snares of evil.  What is life but a constant struggle against obstacles .... You are to prove yourselves in this struggle, you are not to let yourselves be defeated, but always emerge as victors yourselves, and the resistances against which you have to fight, will be ever smaller.  Because with your strength, the power of the opponent dwindles.  And every overcoming of yourselves brings you great benefits ..... Your soul matures and soars up to bright heights, because it frees itself.

But if the weaknesses of the body are given more right than the soul, then the soul can easily be harmed far more than the body can be benefited by the wrongful consideration.  In order to prevent such things, people are confronted with the decision through tests of patience, and then it is only advantageous to renounce the bodily desire and to think only of the welfare of the soul. Now try to give us your attention, and hear:

The Lord will not allow His creatures to use His name and to cover the world in error.  People want to reject where they have to committedly stand for a cause, and on the contrary, they accept undiminished what is only a patchwork ..... Their zeal is to be praised, because they act in the best will and do not want to go against the Lord.  And it will also be difficult to ever teach them otherwise, and yet such resistance should not keep you from pursuing your activity as before.

Whoever recognizes the present time and the endangered situation of true Christianity, will also have to understand the extraordinary work of the Godhead.  Whoever recognizes the state of Christianity today will consider it necessary for the Lord to reveal Himself in order to tell people about His true will ....

There have always been wise people devoted to the Word of God, and they know only too well the effect of a so-called formal faith, how it gradually leads to complete faithlessness .... and they would realize that always new power must go to the people if they are to remain in the Word of God.  And God can give them this power again only through His Word .... which is offered to people in a new form .... never destroying the old, but only in pure clarity and unadulterated.

No man works against God's will, who willingly surrenders himself to the Lord and so only carries out what is the will of the Lord .... Deepen yourselves into the Book of the fathers, and read in all wisdom after intimate prayer for understanding .... and you will pay attention and recognize that only always that happens, what the Lord already announced, when He walked on earth .... And only truly pious people can pass judgment .... because those who want to serve God, will also always do and recognize what is right.  So only devote yourself to your spiritual activity with the same zeal, and trust in God that He will guide you correctly on the way to the eternal home ....
