Life without love ....
Timely retrieval ....

The Divine mission is exceedingly gracious, and man increases his knowledge about things which otherwise remain hidden to him, and so today an explanation is intended for you which is connected with the passing away of the one who occupies your thoughts.  Therefore notice: conscious immersion in spiritual problems undoubtedly promotes the development of the soul, and therefore every spiritual seeker is at an advantage over those who pay no attention to extraterrestrial questions.

Now, however, a change takes place in the heart of the spiritually striving person .... He sees himself close to knowledge and yet remains in a certain resistance, and that is because he strives more intellectually than with the heart .... i.e., love has not yet become active in him, and thus a true life of love, which leads to the awakening of the Spirit of God, has not yet begun, and so man with good will tries to come closer to the truth, recognizes God as the most admirable Being, tries to come close to Him, and yet he lacks the right warmth, which has it's origin in love ....

Man is well-prepared with all his senses to receive the grace of God, and yet in his deepest heart, he cannot get rid of the thought that an eternal Deity will never express Himself visibly for the sake of the miserable creature. .... And this is a lack of faith which would be remedied immediately if man would cultivate love with all devotion .... Whoever lives in love, is so close to the eternal Godhead that he feels His breath .... Whoever lives in love, is completely absorbed in God, because God Himself is in him in all works of love ....

And who lives in love, must come to the true recognition, because Love Himself announces such to him.  But too little attention was paid to love in life, because too much attention was paid to one's own love.  And so the soul must now be offered a new opportunity to practice love, and this can very well be put into action also over there in the hereafter.  For his spiritual knowledge is great and will make his task easier, if love also becomes alive in him.

And so the will will already be blessed, because this will helps him to active work, and he thus enters into a new contract with the heavenly Father .... he instructs those who are poor in spirit, he conveys to them what is his spiritual property, and considers all the poor, to whom neither love of earthly people nor own good works make the hereafter bearable .... he wants to pass on what he has received in abundance, and wants to let love become active for all these poor ones, what he has neglected to do on earth so far and therefore was still a long distance from his own perfection, if he should go this way on earth without the right love .... He wanted to, but he did not understand the power of love .... and was therefore called home to fulfill his task in the hereafter and to cooperate in active love in the redemption of erring souls .... because the Lord still needs many workers for His vineyard, and what He orders, is always wise and just ....
