"And lead us not into temptation ...."

And lead us not into temptation .... You have to fear sin at all times, because it is always and constantly lurking around you.  Therefore you should be vigilant and not forget to pray; you should call upon God often so that He may protect you from every danger of the soul.  The enemy's cunning and trickery is to be feared; he sidles up to the earthly child in every form to exert his influence.  And he will always shape sin in such a way that it stimulates man and he forgets all good intentions.  And therefore you should watch and pray .... to be vigilant that he does not trick you, and pray for strength to be able to resist him.

And if you take refuge in God Himself, He will reward your trust and declare Himself ready for protection, and He will prevent the adversary to continue to play his game of intrigue against you ..... And if the will of man is strong, he [the adversary] will lose, and this will cause him to try again under another flag.  And therefore the Lord says: "Ask Me for help, I will give it to you." The very thought that you send upwards in prayer, will erect a wall around you that the enemy cannot tear down, for God leaves the adversary free to use his power to stir up man's will to resist, but if the Divine Savior is also called upon to save a human child, and if you raise your hands in spirit and in truth, you can always be sure of His help, for He Himself has told you how you should pray .....

He will strengthen you and give you strength to resist, but he will also turn away the temptations of the enemy from you, because this is the will of the Father that you use the prayer, which He has taught you Himself.  It includes all prayers that are almost exclusively for the salvation of the soul.  If you sincerely present these requests to the Father in heaven, He will consider you according to your worthiness ..... And so strive to become worthy of Divine grace, so that it will flow over you and you can receive the power from God.

And the Lord promises you His help, therefore use it and thank the Creator of heaven and earth for His infinite love and goodness, which cares for every man.  And the influence of the enemy will become less and less, he will get tired of the constant fight and, if he does not notice any success, he will let go of you ..... So you will be "redeemed from all evil ....".
