It is like an unbroken chain, it is an endless series of events that reveal the demonic activity and thus also the fettered state in which mankind finds itself.  Every thought, every action, betrays the influence of evil, and it has a tremendous effect on the souls that are not able to free themselves from such fetters.  And so this demonic activity also brings about a complete disruption of faith, because man himself offers no resistance.  It is immensely bleak to see how everything that reminds of God is abandoned, how faith in the Divine Redeemer dwindles more and more and how all thoughts and aspirations of mankind are only meant for that which is part of the dark power.

The teachings of faith are already fantastical concepts for the people, and man feels superior to these teachings; he lives his earthly life, and everything spiritual is undesirable ballast for him.  And so it is inevitable that the power of God has to oppose these demonic forces - that He should stop the doings of Satan.  Without Divine help, the spiritual decay would progress and finally lead to complete ruin, but the heavenly Father remembers the few whose will is still undecided, who have not yet finally surrendered to Him.

And to save them, He lets that judgment come over the earth, which is unimaginable in it's effect.  He wants to let mankind once again hear about His omnipotence, He wants to direct their thoughts to Himself so that they call Him and He can help them.  He still wants to wrest the souls from Satan that have not yet completely fallen prey to him, so that mankind will not be completely lost ..... It is a tremendous event which is to bring about all this - and it depends only on the will of man, how he lets this event affect him.  It can mean his becoming free, but also his final captivity in satanic power.

Again it is left to man to choose between good and evil .... to choose between light and darkness.  And God puts all means at his disposal, that he recognizes if he only wants.  The immutable law of self-determination cannot be overturned arbitrarily, now man himself must determine his further fate, he must declare by his will which way he wants to go - up or down.  Only the eternal Divinity can come to his aid in such a way that man sees the transitoriness of what he has striven for so far.  And therefore an apparent work of destruction can be of immeasurable advantage for man's soul, as soon as he turns away from earthly good at the right time and strives for spiritual good instead.

A tremendous change of the accustomed life can also bring about a change of thinking, and this is the last possibility to raise all of mankind again and to let it find faith in God again.  The endeavor of the present time is to eradicate all faith ..... But since life on earth was given to man only for the purpose of developing himself and his soul through faith, life must also be taken from him if he does not fulfill this actual purpose.

For an earthly life without faith only entails a regressive development of the being.  And this is inevitably the consequence of such aberrations of all mankind, that God's omnipotence and rule appears in order to still save what is willing and to completely destroy what is completely in the power of Satan.  Because the earth is an education station of the spirit .... but where it is not recognized as that, the beings are also not allowed to stay any longer on it, because they deprive themselves of this grace .....
