Ignorance about the work of the Holy Spirit ....

The work of the Divine Spirit remains incomprehensible to people as long as they themselves do nothing to awaken the Spirit in themselves.  They cannot imagine that an ability is hidden in man, which only needs to be trained .... in order to produce successes, which cannot be achieved in a natural way.  And yet, everyone could easily create the proof for himself, if the serious will would be awakened in him to test this work of the Spirit.  The success is so unusually valuable, that no effort would be too great and the attempt should not be spared, which would bring the proof to man.

But seldom man will put all his will to fathom such things, because the desire for truth is too little predominant, and therefore man also does not desire to know and pays too little attention to extraordinary things.  He is also too far away from love, because love and desire for truth cannot be thought of separately.  He who stands in love, is seized by the Divine Spirit and must therefore also seek the truth .... while the man whose heart is untouched by love, also carries no desire to fathom inexplicable things.  He rather flees the truth and everything which could lead to it, for since he himself does not feel anything Divine, if he is not active in love, he also does not seek God, he does not seek the light .... he does not desire to know, he does not want either enlightenment or truth ..... And Divine activity is therefore something completely incomprehensible to him.

And therefore only a few will be informed about it, and indeed these must have already awakened their spirit, otherwise also the working of the Divine Spirit in man would be an empty concept to them.  And again, this shows how little this precious gift is requested and how rarely it can be distributed, because the power of the Holy Spirit will only be poured out on those who give themselves to God, because their nature will be love ....  They will stand in the desire for truth and request the power from God, and their thinking will now be well ordered, because the Spirit of God pours out over that earthly child and therefore God's Spirit works in a visible way.

And the visible success is a knowledge that goes far beyond human abilities, an absorption in the spiritual and the gift of foresight in the Divine will.  Whoever does not acknowledge the working of the Divine Spirit, will also doubt those predictions, since it is unknown to him that the power of the Spirit protects the thinking of man from error and therefore the earthly child, Who abandons himself to the working of the Divine Spirit, cannot accept anything that goes against the Divine will .... that therefore, fullest faith can be placed in those predictions as long as man desires Divine power and does not deny the working of the Divine Spirit .....
