Lack of humility ....
Erroneous thinking ....

It is unspeakably difficult to make people understand the error of their thinking if they lack inner humility.  Nothing can be explained to them, because they are convinced that they understand everything and therefore do not want to be taught.  And yet they are far away from right thinking.  And even if unusual proofs are given to them, they ignore them with frivolity, because it seems uncomfortable to them to delve deeper.  For they must admit to themselves that their way of life is not as required by God, and any confirmation of what they fear, is unpleasant for them to hear.

These are the people who lack the serious will to reach the heights.  They consider the earthly life and it's fulfillment as their first duty and think of their Creator only in times of need.  But they do not know the right worship of God in their hearts, and therefore they do not recognize the Word of God as what it is .... as a mission from heaven, offered to people in love, which imparts strength and grace to them without measure, which can never rob them of time and strength, but always supplies them with them.

It is well-understandable that doubts about the truthfulness of these words can make people unbelieving and they look at such transmissions with a certain caution, but they also refuse to subject them to serious examination and therefore they cannot judge correctly and stay away from the Divine Word where it is brought so close to them.  And only the greatest love and patience can bring it about that also those take note of the content of the transmissions from above.  They will continue to meet with rejection, but if they can be presented, a change of thinking can be successful.  It is just with such people that a long time passes before the extraordinary grace grips them, and this time is unfortunately lost for eternity. ....
