Effort of the adversary to disrupt spiritual connections ....

Where the Spirit of God is at work, beings turned away from God, are understandably also active by trying to destroy something which could lead souls to God.  And therefore the demonic forces will make use of all means at their disposal.  They will first try to prevent the spiritual material imparted to people, to be made accessible to others.  They will first awaken in them a feeling of aversion or a certain resistance, which, however, will very soon be overcome by the power of the Divine Word, if a person is serious about his soul-life.  Furthermore, the adversary will succeed in plunging the doubters into ever greater doubts, and if the prayer for enlightenment does not then come from the heart, man will never master these doubts, and thus the adversary has succeeded in his intrigue.

Now, however, Divine powers are just as eagerly at work to nullify the misgivings which are known to them, and therefore fight the activities of the adversary in the sharpest way.   The power of the Holy Spirit works so obviously, and it equips the earthly child with the gift of spiritual sight, if it would be hindered to receive and write down thought-transmissions.  God's Spirit teaches man only to make the way to God easier for them - i.e. more passable, and therefore the Word is also to be spread.  Those beings, however, are prevented in which the desire arises to destroy the received on their own authority, or to prevent the recipient from receiving it.

To these God Himself puts obstacles in the way to hinder them from the work of destruction, because every gift from heaven is imperishable .... It would therefore never be able to be destroyed - however, destruction-inclined spirit-beings can easily exert their influence on people whose will is strong and whose arrogance does not allow them to accept as truth something they cannot and do not want to affirm.  So the evil power will influence them in such a way that they offer resistance to the Divine Word imparted through the mouth of man.

But this will be without success.  For the good spiritual power is stronger, and thus good and evil beings wrestle with each other, and the endeavor of the latter is only to weaken the effect of the Divine Word and to sever connections which exist between the earthly child and the heavenly Father, so that man becomes incapable of recognizing the Divine truth, and thus also rejects the received Word .....
