Marriage with God ....

The unification of the spirit with the Father-Spirit is the most consecrating act earthly life can bestow upon a human being, for it is the most blissful thing a person can be granted. But only few people reach perfection on earth, which is the prerequisite for marriage with the Lord. Therefore the human being must have become pure love and renounce all earthly joy, and then he will find fulfilment of his longing through divine love itself, which cannot be compared to earthly happiness, nor can it be felt earthly to the same extent as it is spiritually.

Earthly surroundings also presuppose earthly feelings .... The marriage with God, however, is a spiritual process which is only felt spiritually and only becomes noticeable earthly in that the human being is no longer quite suitable for earthly life and constantly dwells in higher regions. Therefore, as long as the human being still has to fulfil his earthly task, this spiritual marriage will rarely take place, for it prevents the union for easily explainable reasons. It keeps the human being on earth and is the reason for the spirit's constant return to earth and its duties.

On the other hand, however, the human being's will is decisive, and therefore a person who has the firm will to reach God can also reach his goal and still do justice to the earthly task, provided he calls upon the spiritual strength he is entitled to and thus uses it to accomplish the earthly work, leaving the earthly child time and leisure to be able to send the spirit upwards, and now the spirit, completely free of inhibitions, can unite with the divine Father-Spirit. The process of union can be perceived in different ways, for every person's feelings are different, and therefore that which is given to the human being as the highest happiness must also be perceived differently.

The spiritual marriage can earn the human being the audible word, i.e. the moment when the voice in the heart sounds clearly and audibly like a little bell is the moment of spiritual union with God. And this voice triggers an inconceivable feeling of bliss, for God's love has completely seized the earth child and drawn it to Himself. However, the union with God can also take place without any visible evidence .... that only a creature which glows with love for the Lord feels seized by divine Fatherly love and is blissfully happy, yet this cannot be perceived physically but is only expressed in the ability to see spiritually.

This state is blissful for the earthly child, however, it often makes it unable to comply with earthly demands, but this does not affect it since it feels that its physical end is near. The spiritual marriage with God is almost always the sign of the imminent departure from the world, but it will only ever be understandable to those who also spiritually strive upwards, whereas a merely earthly-minded person will only pass an unbelieving and rejecting judgment on it because his intellect cannot grasp what is only a purely spiritual process ....
