He who is life and strength in Himself also places them in the human being's breast and endows him with abilities which testify to His love and wisdom. He remains in everlasting contact with them through the gift of that strength which conditions the human being's life. Therefore, what the human being gives, who carries God within himself, is likewise strength. For through his abilities he is able to utilise this strength in such a way that it benefits his fellow human being, provided he cultivates love. However, he can also use the strength .... he receives, regardless of whether he is worthy of it .... in a God-opposing sense if he uses it to create things which harm his neighbour's body and soul. For then this power is no longer synonymous with life but with death.

To be allowed to receive divine power is a process that repeats itself constantly. For not a second passes when the flow of strength from God ceases, and it can always and constantly be used in a life-awakening way if the human being's striving is always for the good. .... Then this strength has a constructive but not a destructive effect. And if this strength from God is used to build up what is in danger of collapsing ...., if by means of this strength what was in decline is led upwards again, then this strength has a truly life-awakening effect. The plight of the one who is also of God but is not aware of his life-awakening power must be considered again and again .... He does not make use of what is offered to him, and that means a standstill of the spiritual in himself .... Or he uses it in the wrong way, and that means a decline.

The life given to the human being on earth is preserved for him precisely through the granting of divine strength. This strength should not remain unused but it should also not be misused .... It is used by the human being through every activity, and if the activity is intended by God then the strength is used in accordance with God's will. Misused strength, however, is sin before God, for misused strength is everything that goes against God's law, thus every deed which lacks love for God and one's neighbour. And therefore it is incumbent on every individual person to participate in the divine work of creation as well as in the spiritual .... work of creation which enlivens the divine work of creation, i.e. to use his strength for everything beneficial for the soul. For this should be the human being's greatest concern.

If the human being uses the strength imparted to him by God to be spiritually active he will use this strength in a God-pleasing way, and he will now find the greatest possible support, for currents of strength will now converge which guarantee extraordinary activity. A construction is now being continued for which God Himself laid the foundation by giving every human being the ability to recognise what corresponds to divine will. Everything that is active in building up will live, for it uses the strength from God in a way that pleases Him, and thus it will never ever be withdrawn from it, and it will be granted an uninterrupted life with constant receipt of divine strength and constant use of it according to His will. ....
