To be allowed to receive the direct radiation of divine power is an unimaginable grace for human beings. This is a gift that goes far beyond the merit of a human being, for to be acknowledged by God is something delightful that cannot be grasped humanly. He Who is the highest and most perfect Being, Who created heaven and earth, Who rules over everything that is .... bends down to an earthly child and shares Himself with it .... This is a gift of grace which indisputably suffices to shape the earthly child into a perfect being, for the strength of God is imparted to it, and this strength from God is able to do everything, thus it can also completely transform a person of good will and promote his higher development.

And strength from God is every Word which is conveyed to the earthly child through God's greater than great love, for what comes from God cannot be anything other than His emanation, and if God emanates strength the being given this strength gains spiritual substance. Hence it receives something from God's hand which contributes to the increase of its essence, spiritual substance from God unites with the spiritual substance in the human being, and this manifests itself such that the desire for the pure spiritual substance is strengthened and can therefore be met through increased supply of spiritual strength. Such an influx of strength is not particularly noticeable externally, however the human being's nature, his thinking and feeling, spiritualises itself more and more, and then the human being only fulfils his purpose of earthly life when all his concerns only apply to spiritual higher development.

The fact that a person is given such an extraordinary gift of grace is again due to the fact that this person did not seek any earthly advantage from the union which he initiated himself of his own accord. If such a union is based on any calculation, it will never come about. But since only the will towards God was the motive and the surrender of his own will preceded the connection between heaven and earth, divine Fatherly grace seized His creature in His unspeakable love and drew it towards Himself. And since God is strength in Himself, the divine strength henceforth had to flow into the earthly child and affect it in the aforementioned way ..... Now it cannot but fulfil the will of Him, which only then flows over to all created things that unite with Him. ....

The human being must now, as it were, feel the divine expression of strength in himself, in that everything in him pushes towards unification with Him Who is strength Himself .... The human being's will must turn ever more eagerly towards God, the spiritual in the human being and the spiritual outside must strive towards each other, for all spiritual is strength from God which demands to return to Him again from Whom it originated .... Thus the emanation of divine strength must cause the human being to feel its benefit in himself and strive for final unification with the Giver of strength Himself again ....
