People need mediators between themselves and God because they do not make contact with Him themselves but God, in His love, does not want to leave them without assistance. And this is the reason why a direct connection from the beyond to earth is permitted in a form which should eliminate all doubt of divine activity. Thus the first reason is to be sought in humanity's plight, but furthermore the truth is so little represented on earth and it is only possible to convey it to earth by this means.

Christ's teaching has undergone changes through human influence in the course of time and must therefore be brought to humanity again in the way it was originally. And so the necessity of divine activity can already be seen from this. For God as the eternal truth cannot tolerate that something is spread as pure truth which no longer corresponds to it. Therefore knowing beings have to transfer the truth to earth and look for a willing human being who declares himself willing to be a mediator and accepts spiritual gifts in order to pass them on.

The conscious will to serve God now enables this person to perform an extraordinary function .... to listen with a spiritual ear and to collect the results in order to then be able to use them as spiritual good. Thus something purely spiritual arises in earthly form, eternal wisdom is conveyed to earth through divine love, and thus spiritual darkness is banished and humanity's spiritual state is illuminated.

And yet, the majority of people pass it by carelessly, and this merely because they don't want to acknowledge such an obvious manifestation of God. Unless someone proclaims God's working as a spiritual experience with full conviction he will hardly find believing followers amongst people. And thus God equips those with great strength and lets them achieve extraordinary things and thus wants to turn people's faith towards Himself. And thus God gives people the truth and great strength to the proclaimers. He lets them recognise when it is God's will to use this strength, and then God Himself works through these people and draws attention to the divine gift commanded from above.

And then it will become evident that word and deed correspond, that everything proclaimed through divine truth can shape people such that they become bearers of divine strength themselves, thus they can also work through this strength, and that the human being can therefore achieve everything if he accepts the divine Word imparted to him and complies with it, since the same strength is inherent in it. Then the divine Word will be accepted by many, for it will provide them with the evidence that God's Word is truth in itself.

But the earthly child's will must always precede it, it must be willing to believe and to a certain extent testify to its willingness to do what is demanded of it by the divine Word. Then he will feel the power of the Word in himself by his ever increasing desire for it; and the will to be of service to the Lord will also make him capable of working for Him. And thus God proves to humanity the truthfulness of what people receive from above as truth ....
