And I will call this power into being, I will give it My blessing, I will let it become great and the world shall recognise that it is appointed by Me. In the foreseeable future one will already ascend the throne, i.e. I will give him power over many countries, I will determine people to elect him as their prince, as their regent, and he will gain the love and reputation of all peoples, he will be without falsity and give Me alone the honour, and therefore I will bless his work on earth ....

Yet before he comes an unspeakable tribulation will befall the earth, for the adversary still reigns and his influence seeks to destroy. He determines all evil forces to be tremendously active and thus the earth will be agitated, all evil spiritual substances will gain the upper hand and earthly measures will be taken which likewise indicate satanic influence, and the worldly ruling power will live without God, and thus the exercise of power will also be .... lawless, brutal and shying away from the light of truth, and humanity will recognise the evil influence ever more clearly and feel the secret desire within itself that this rule should be replaced by a power which corresponds to divine will.

God has provided for this change, but the time has not yet come, for Satan's activity must first be revealed, even to those who have completely confessed it ..... For only when the evil is recognised will it also be detested, and only then will the good striving of the ruling power be recognised and appreciated accordingly. For God wants people to be governed wisely even by worldly power; He wants the same relationship to exist on earth between the people and their ruler, as God demands of people for Himself ....

The human being should willingly submit to the power that has been given to him by God as authority. Where the people are governed wisely they will also be devoted to the authorities and do everything to establish the best understanding .... The authorities, i.e. the ruler, will always be regarded and honoured as the divine representative, and this relationship between the people and their ruler is in accordance with divine will, thus He will bless both the ruler and the people because both make divine will their guiding principle and live for each other ....
