It remains a futile attempt of the world to completely detach people from Christ, thus to alienate His name from them and to eradicate His teaching. Although it will seem as if the worldly power should succeed in this, it will only be able to force people to deny Jesus Christ up to a certain limit, but then it will also work for it to the same extent as against it.

And Jesus' disciples will also have a power at their disposal which far surpasses worldly power. They will only accomplish things by invoking His name which are impossible for worldly power, and this will increase the flock of Jesus' followers, and now people's faith will become a living one, and the reputation of worldly power will dwindle to the same extent as faith in Jesus Christ will grow.

And the earthly power will not look upon such with favour, instead, it will try with all its might to shake the faith in Jesus Christ; it will adopt a threatening attitude and threaten harshest punishments to those who support the spreading of the divine Word and thus profess to be followers of Jesus. These will have to bow to earthly power and be exposed to great tribulations.

But even if it appears earthly, as if all power is on their side, they are not able to do anything against the power of faith of those who fight for God. These will express themselves through obvious signs and wonders which God Himself will work in and through the believers. And where the believers no longer know what to do God Himself will appear and tell people what they should do, and people will speak when and how God wants them to, and all measures taken by the world and its representatives to eradicate faith in God, in the divine Redeemer, will be weak human work.

They will have little success, and this will increase their indignation to such an extent that they will make decree after decree, yet without real success, without reaching their goal. Many will certainly fall away from faith in Jesus Christ during this time but those who stand firm and profess Him will endure the most severe tests; they will no longer give away what they own, for Jesus Christ means far more to them than earthly power can ever offer them ....
