Divine grace must be asked for ....
Not indiscriminately ....
(predestination)

Anyone who feels drawn to Me, who takes refuge in Me in every adversity and tribulation, I will hear his pleas. For he acknowledges Me as his Father and his plea is childlike and trusting. And the Father is always willing to reduce His children's adversity, and thus I also want to save you and give you peace. It is only necessary for the sake of your souls that you come into distress so that you seek Me and your hearts send up the call to Me. For only suffering brings you closer to Me. However, you will never be abandoned if you do not call upon Me, if you do not turn away from Me. And therefore always trust in My love and wait until help comes to you.

It is never the human being's own merit if he reaches ascent, but this is caused by God's grace. But it must not stop the human being from working on himself, he must never think that he does not need to do anything but can only rely on God's grace. He will only be worthy of God's grace if he proves through his deeds, his conduct, his thoughts and actions that he wants to ascend. This will, which makes him ask for God's help in prayer, earns him grace, which in turn leads to the perfection of the soul.

Divine grace is therefore by no means a gift from God that is given to people indiscriminately, with which one person is provided for while another person would have to live in want .... No, divine grace is available to every human being without measure. No human being will ask for God's grace in vain. However, it can never be imparted to a person without being requested, and therefore the human being's only merit will be that he repeatedly turns to the heavenly Father in prayer and humbly appeals for His grace. Everything else is then accomplished by God's love Himself in a person who thus gives his will to God and consciously makes use of God's supply of strength.

And it is therefore erroneous to assume that God grants His grace to people at will ..... This would be an act of utmost injustice, for then only those people could become blessed who were chosen by divine grace. The conscious striving for perfection would then lose all meaning, because the question could understandably be raised: Do I belong to those whom God has chosen for the eternal kingdom .... Such a view would have to lead to the human being neglecting the work of the soul and only ever wanting to raise the objection that only divine grace can set him free, but that this cannot be achieved, instead the human being has to wait in peace and patience until God's grace flows to him, and if this is not the case he will have to perish eternally .....

Anyone who has this view is in a terrible spiritual condition. He must doubt God's love, His goodness and mercy, furthermore, he would have to regard his earthly life as useless if God's grace is not granted to him .... And yet it is up to the human being to make unlimited use of divine grace. Every person is free to come to God as often as he wants, i.e. to request in prayer everything that is simply called grace.

The more sincerely he asks for it, the more God will give to the earthly child and only then can it live on earth in a way that is pleasing to God. .... Thus his way of life is no longer his own merit, but the fact that he can live it as he does now is due to the working of divine grace, .... Every person can ask, so he will also receive according to his prayer. He will be granted God's grace and now successfully travel the path upwards ....

Amen
