Divine Grace ....

Without divine grace, man is incapable of accomplishing even the slightest thing for the salvation of his soul. The human being is weak, i.e. he lacks all strength as long as he walks without God. He can certainly live his earthly life and also do so with earthly success but his soul will go empty-handed until it appeals to God for His grace. For God's grace is strength .... It is the strength needed to carry out what is God's will. God thus makes His will known to people and at the same time gives them the means to fulfil His will. And the human being can reach his goal, the maturity of the soul, without much effort if he wants to ..... But this is entirely up to him ....

The will to request strength will not be forced, but neither can the strength be given to the human being without being requested. The human being achieves everything with God if he prays sincerely. Hence grace will also be given to him without limit, since it is God's will that people make use of His grace in order to attain spiritual maturity. If the human being spurns the most precious gift, divine grace, then his will is in the power of the adversary who wants to prevent the human being from making contact with God.

And if he implores God's grace he establishes the connection with God, and that means lost territory for the adversary, for then he can no longer rule over the human being. But for the human being himself it means salvation from eternal ruin. For from that moment on God Himself stands by his side, since the human being has entrusted himself to His strength and power through prayer for grace and God will never disappoint such trust.

If only the human being always appeals for divine grace he will no longer need to fear for his soul, for God will dispense His grace without measure to those who desire it and pray to Him in spirit and in truth. But He will withhold it from those who deem themselves too exalted to approach the divine Creator for a relief of their earthly task. Their reward is the world's recognition, and thus they also believe they can master everything by their own strength.

They will lack all strength to do something which will bring spiritual success. On the other hand, their inclination towards matter will be increased, for if they don't believe they need God's grace they are children of Satan, who places all these thoughts into the human being's heart in order to increase the distance from God. And it will also be easy for him to achieve this. To live in God's grace ensures highest spiritual success, for now the human being no longer does anything on his own but everything in accordance with divine will. Divine grace is God's assistance, divine grace is strength, and divine grace is, as it were, the outpouring of God's infinite love, and where this comes into action there must be spiritual success. And therefore always and constantly appeal for divine grace so that it can reach you as soon as you need it ....
