The God-opposing will was the cause of the apostasy from God, and this God-opposing will was therefore God's antipole, i.e., the essence, which stood in the opposing will, strives away from God and towards the very power which ignited this opposing will, which therefore consciously opposed God. And this was a being of divine origin, thus a highly perfect being which, however, was also free to oppose God, since freedom of will is an essential part of perfection.

It is now to be understood that the beingness, which came into being through the will of this power, likewise had to carry the God-opposed-will free will within itself, thus was pushed into a degree of imperfection through no fault of its own. That is why God gave this entity the right of self-determination so that it could again freely choose its master. And the beingness now decided of its own free will for the adversary of God.

Consequently, it was no longer blameless, for in order to be able to decide this entity, which carried darkness within itself as a sign of its remoteness from God, had to come into contact with the light in order to also know about it ..... But it fought against the luminous in order to draw the luminous down to itself, and this was an open rebellion against God. Thus the beingness became sinful ....

And in order to be able to become free again from this sin of the former rebellion against God, everything was created .... Heaven and earth, all worldly bodies .... the whole of creation. And now the beingness only ever walks through this creation towards one goal, to come close to God in order to become full of light .... in order to become what it once could easily have been but spurned.

Creation contains the essence within itself which is even further or closer away from God, yet all essence is withdrawn from the influence of God's adversary as long as it walks the path through the individual works of creation. But the being cannot be systematically directed upwards because then it would only be a directed, thus willless being which had reached its state of maturity, which would exclude the degree of perfection.

Consequently, its will has to be tested anew whether it decides in favour of God or His adversary. Thus free will must be given to him for a time and at the same time God's adversary must again be allowed access and influence over the beingness. But likewise the influence of the beings of light is also allowed, so that therefore the being can really freely decide for God or his opponent. And both now unfold their activity and fight for the being which, as a human being on earth, has to pass this test of will .....

Before Christ's act of Salvation the adversary's influence and power was immense and the will, although free, was extraordinarily weakened by the very power of its Creator. And divine love took pity on him .... However, God could not forcibly intervene in order not to make the being's perfection impossible. Therefore He had to come to the beings' aid Himself .... As the representative of these enslaved beings He had to take up the battle against the one who had bound the will of human beings through His power ....

He had to wage the battle against him but fight with means which were the only ones able to break the adversary's power .... He had to fight with means of love, for the adversary was powerless against them. And out of love for people the God-man Jesus allowed Himself to be struck on the cross and thereby overcame death ...., i.e. the bound will and at the same time the one who had bound the will ..... And from that moment on the path was open for anyone who wanted to take this path like Jesus, for he also has to take the path of love but also in faith in the divine Redeemer of humanity.

A person of love will also be able to acknowledge and affirm Jesus Christ as Redeemer, for he is, as it were, in closest union with Him if he is of love, i.e. if he is lovingly active on earth. The adversary has little influence on him and therefore cannot take away his knowledge of Jesus' divinity. Consequently, Jesus Christ will be recognised as God's Son and Redeemer of the world by all who have detached themselves from the power of God's adversary through loving activity.

Those who reject Him, however, are still under his influence and thus also still in the bound will ..... They can only become free from it if they implore .... the grace of the act of Salvation if they are too weak to resist Him on their own authority or to lovingly work .... . The will to take the right path to God will also earn them the strength. For Jesus Christ gave His life to strengthen this will, so that the human being, if he wants to free himself from the opposing power, can also do so if he confesses Jesus Christ ....
