Spiritual communion should be cultivated insofar as that people come together who are truly willing to serve God and who, through the resulting maturity of soul, become enlightened in spirit so that one can convey to the other what the divine spirit has proclaimed to him, be it through revelations of an extraordinary kind or also through the mental influence of the beings of light. ....

It will always be a blessing if such people exchange their thoughts and thus attain ever brighter light, for in truth the spirit of God is working in all these people whom love for God brings together for joint activity for Him. The more willing they are to serve, the purer the truth can be conveyed to them, the clearer they will hear the divine voice and the more beneficial these spiritual unions will be for the individual.

God has always instructed His disciples to walk in two or three .... (16.6.1941) The strength of the spirit was stronger in each one of them, and at the same time the disciples themselves were able to form themselves in their manner of speaking, thus they emptied themselves mutually and thus also took a stand on what was revealed to them through the spirit of God.

Spiritual fellowship should therefore be cultivated and it will always be beneficial if the spirit of love rules in it. Every disunity, however, is a danger as soon as it results in hostility. Then the adversary will understandably be able to express himself through the heart of the one who has become loveless, and the danger exists that his words will nevertheless be believed. What is united in love can only speak the purest truth; unkindness, on the other hand, opens the gates to untruth. ....

If a lasting work is to come into being which is intended to be a source of strength for the whole of humanity, it is understandable that this work is not prematurely endangered, which, however, would easily be the case if the strength of the Holy Spirit cannot be equally effective in all members of the congregation and thus the value of the divine gift is not properly grasped and appreciated.

For this reason the Lord uses an instrument which is not bound in any way during the reception of the divine Word, which is then also intended to bring blessing in intimate fellowship, yet only those can be counted as members of this fellowship who receive the Word with full faith and are also able to grasp it in all its depth and wisdom through their profound faith. The power lies in the Word itself ..... Anyone who feels it is pure of heart, he belongs to the community to which God Himself gives His blessing, for all these open their hearts to the influx of divine power, which is the Word of God.

Those who live in the Lord also recognise the outpouring of divine love and will unanimously advocate the Word to their fellow human beings ..... But those who carry the spirit of unkindness within themselves, who lack humility and yet feel called for external reasons alone, will not recognise it as a divine gift and will take a stand against it. Yet their influence will be too small to destroy what God Himself wants to build up for the benefit of humanity ....
