For all power is given to Me in heaven and on earth .... And what I do is only ever a work of mercy and love for My living creations to whom I gave life. The circle of those who want to serve Me also remains subject to My will and I make My will known to people on earth through them. For the adversity is great, people are standing on the precipice of ruin because they no longer recognize Me as their father. And I have to intervene if I don't want to abandon them completely to ruin. And so you only see all the terrors of the earth, but not My heart, which longs for you in love and wants to save you through these terrors. The more you stand in darkness, the harder I have to attack you so that you pay attention to Me. Faith has become so distant to you, the thought of Me so rare and My nature and work so improbable that nothing can shake you up and teach you right thinking. On the other hand, the world holds you in strong bonds. You sacrifice everything to it, even that which you should still quietly keep in your hearts .... faith in Jesus Christ as saviour of the world. You also sacrifice Him for the sake of sober advantages of the world. But what use are these to you if the father calls you away into eternity. Reflect on yourselves, be selfishly mindful of your soul and detach yourselves from the world and its attractions. I fear for you and seek to penetrate your hearts .... do not close these hearts and live in love so that I can draw close to you and bring you strength in your soul's adversity. But anyone who turns away from Me will have to struggle and fight even in apparent comfort on earth. For nothing earthly can replace the father's grace for him, and this alone is precious for eternity. Oh, if only you would realize the worthlessness of earthly goods .... If only you would always bear in mind that the very next day can separate you from it and that you will have to pass into the beyond poor and empty .... My love and mercy constantly endeavours to spare you the great hardship there, and through suffering and sorrow I try to guide you onto the path of realization, which is never possible through joy and earthly happiness. And so I bring you anew the proof of My might and power and make the earth tremble .... A short time yet and the earth will become a place of ruins in many places .... And those who stand by Me will be given work to do on the souls of the erring yet willing children of the earth. I will remain among you, My servants, and help you in word and deed so that you only ever work according to My will. Yet I cannot avert misery from humanity, which has brought it upon itself through its depraved thinking and lack of faith. If My voice is no longer heeded, all faith among people will die out, but I want to prevent this and intervene where there is great danger. World law assures you protection if you deny Christ, yet who will protect you in such adversity? .... Therefore recognize that I alone am lord over heaven and earth and that everyone who recognizes Me and is full of faith stands in My protection, yet without this only darkness is your lot .... Recognize that all power on earth cannot rebel against My will .... and that everything must be subject to it because everything created by Me will also be governed by Me for all eternity ....
